In Australia it's no secret we love making cocktails.

Mini Mixology Cocktail Classes—Your Event, Your Cocktails, Your Experience!

Our Mini Mixology Cocktail Classes offer 1, 1.5, or 2-hour interactive experiences, designed to bring creativity and excitement to any occasion. Fully mobile and tailored to your needs, we bring the complete bar setup straight to you.

From premium glassware and bar tools to top-quality spirits, mixes, garnishes, and expert mixologists, we provide everything—all you need are the guests!

Looking for something unique for a corporate event or team-building session? We offer custom cocktail experiences, including “design your own cocktail” challenges and other engaging activities.

Secure your booking with a $350 deposit and gain exclusive access to our curated cocktail menus, where you can select the drinks for your event. Want to go fully bespoke? Choose your own cocktail selection for an additional customization fee, available at menu selection.

HOW MANY GUESTS?

Ready to shake up your celebration with a Cocktail Queen class?

 

Firstly decide how many guests you're hosting and choose your cocktail experience based on how many cocktails you want to make.


1 hour = 2 cocktails
1.5 hours = 3 cocktails
2 hours = 4 cocktails

All our pricing is exactly how you see it here on line, the only additional fees you will have to incur is delivery for equipment and maybe travel depending on your location.  See table below for full fee disclosure.

LOCK IT IN EDDIE!

To confirm your booking, a $350 deposit is required at the time of completing your online booking form.


Please note: dates and staffing are not held without a deposit. If you're thinking about booking but waiting it out—especially during peak periods—there’s a chance your preferred package may no longer be available. At The Cocktail Queen®, it’s strictly first in, first served.


We believe in total transparency, so there's no need to request a quote—everything is clearly outlined right here on our site and booking form, with no hidden fees or sneaky extras. If you do ask for a quote, we’ll be pulling directly from what you already see here

CHOOSE YOUR COCKTAILS

Once your deposit is confirmed, you’ll unlock access to our cocktail menus. Choose between two signature set menus, or upgrade to our Pick & Mix option for a small additional fee—this includes personalised Cocktail Queen placemats to elevate your experience even further.


You'll also receive a Pre-Class Setup Checklist to help you get event-ready. It covers all the essentials—like whether to set up indoors or outdoors—so you're fully prepared for our arrival.


From there, all that’s left to do is invite your guests and get ready to shake things up in true Cocktail Queen® style.  Your final guest numbers are not due until 10 days prior to the event.🍸

MAKING 2 COCKTAILS

Shake, stir, and sip your way through a fun-filled 1-hour cocktail experience, where each guest will craft two cocktails under the guidance of a Cocktail Queen® Mixologist.


Your professional mixologist will arrive 40–60 minutes prior to your event to set up the bar and prepare for a seamless service of delicious drinks. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll gain immediate access to our menu options, where you can select your cocktails in advance.

MAKING 3 COCKTAILS

Level up your cocktail experience with our 1.5-hour interactive mixology class, where each guest will create three incredible cocktails with the guidance of a professional Cocktail Queen® Mixologist.


Your mixologist will arrive 40–60 minutes before your event to set up and prepare for service, ensuring every detail is handled before your guests arrive. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive immediate access to our cocktail menus, allowing you to select your drinks in advance and tailor the vibe to suit your celebration.

MAKING 4 COCKTAILS

Go all in with our 2-hour deluxe cocktail class, where each guest will mix, shake, and sip their way through four stunning cocktails under the guidance of a professional Cocktail Queen® Mixologist.


Your mixologist will arrive 40–60 minutes prior to the start time to set up a stylish and fully equipped bar space, ensuring a seamless flow from first pour to final garnish. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll unlock access to our curated menus to choose your cocktails with the opportunity to  tailor the experience to your event vibe.

FAQS & FEES

TRAVEL FEE

Our travel fees reflect the time, distance, and fuel costs incurred by our team, who use their own vehicles to attend events. These fees are based on travel from our South Melbourne head office, but our staff may be travelling in from outer suburbs to your event, so we need to ensure that our valued staff are fairly compensated for time spent on the road.


🚗 Travel Fees
For events within 5–55km:
A flat collective fee applies, regardless of the number of staff attending.

- 0–10km: $0

-11-20km: $59 (collective fee)

- 21-35km: $79 (collective fee)
- 36–45km $99 (collective fee)

-46-55km: $120 (collective fee)

For events 56km and over:
A per-person travel fee applies due to extended travel times. For events of 25 plus guests there will be 2 staff present.
- 56–90km: $160 per staff member
- 91–110km: $200 per staff member


To calculate the distance from South Melbourne, simply search your location in Google Maps (e.g. "South Melbourne to Berwick in kms").


🅿️ Melbourne CBD Parking
A $39 parking fee applies to all Melbourne CBD events—this covers access to secure parking facilities regardless of whether a dedicated bay is provided.

EQUIPMENT

What’s Included in Your Cocktail Queen® Package


Each package includes full hire of all essential bar equipment—shakers, muddlers, barware, and glassware—plus all the premium mixers, garnishes, spirits, and ice required to craft your cocktails with flair.
 

You’ll also be joined by one of our fun, engaging, and professionally trained Cocktail Queen Mixologists, there to lead the experience and keep the energy flowing.
 

If you don’t have trestle tables available, we’ve got you covered—they’re available for hire at just $10 per table. Our 1.8m tables comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests standing or 8 seated. You can add these during the booking process and choose whether or not you’d like tablecloths—no extra charge.


Please note: we don’t supply or recommend chairs for our cocktail classes. There's plenty of shaking, mixing, and dancing involved, so standing is part of the fun!

MENU OPTIONS

When booking any of our cocktail class packages, you’ll have the option to select from two curated set menus, featuring crowd favourites like Pornstar Martinis, Espresso Martinis, Amaretto Sours and more.

Prefer to customise your experience?

Upgrade to our Pick & Mix menu for a one-off fee of $49, giving you the flexibility to hand-select your cocktails and receive bespoke Cocktail Queen placemats tailored for your event.

Hosting mocktail lovers? We’ve got them covered.

For groups of 16 guests or more, mocktail guests receive $20 off the advertised package price. Mocktail options are based on our signature non-alcoholic set menu using premium ingredients and non-alcoholic spirits. If you'd like more choice, mocktail options can also be selected via the Pick & Mix menu.

Please note: menus will only be provided once your booking deposit has been received.

DELIVERY FEE

All essential equipment—including shaker systems, placemats, stock, and tables (if hired)—is pre-delivered for events within 0–35km of Melbourne CBD.

 

Delivery is a flat $79 fee,

 

which also covers collection either later that day or the following day after your event.
 

For events located beyond 35km from Melbourne CBD, equipment will arrive and depart with your lead Instructing Mixologist on the day. However, if you prefer a pre-delivery setup, the following additional delivery fees apply:

36-45km $99

46-55kms $120

56-90kms $160

91-110kms $200

To calculate delivery simply enter in to a google search, example: "South Melbourne to Berwick in kms".

You are able to select the option of pre-delivery on the booking form.
